Jack (Джек) is lost (потерялся) in a new city (в новом городе).
He looks at the street sign (он смотрит на указатель улицы), but he does not know the way (но он не знает дорогу).
A woman stands on the corner (женщина стоит на углу), and Jack asks her for help (и Джек просит у неё помощи).
“Excuse me,” he says («Извините», — говорит он), “Where is the museum?” («Где музей?»)
She smiles and takes out a map (она улыбается и достаёт карту).
“Go straight,” she says («Идите прямо», — говорит она), “then turn right (потом поверните направо) at the next street.”
“It’s near the park (он рядом с парком), across from the library (напротив библиотеки).”
Jack thanks her (Джек благодарит её) and walks away smiling (и уходит с улыбкой).
